Kyriakos sees his work not only as visual art, but as a true expression of rich Orthodox Theology. Encoded within each icon is deep complexity and symbolism that comes from the wellspring of Holy Tradition.  As a result of his many years of experience & drive to continue increasing his skill, Kyriakos has become masterful in his execution of high-quality frescos and portable icons. His skill sets include painting/writing with egg tempera, acrylic paints, the application of gold leaf gilding, etching in stone, wood burning and more.

Together with his wife Evis, and partner in Iconography Dimitrios Ginos, Kyriakos has formed Otrigrammatos, a studio dedicated to Ecclesiastical arts and education. The Otrigammatos team has completed many projects throughout the Orthodox world and have educated many concerning the beautiful meaning found within this sacred art

Now, with the growth of Orthodoxy in America, Kyriakos has set his sights on supporting the development of the faith within the US using his God given talents. Iconography is evangelical as well as a tool that teaches theological truths. Its meanings and insights enrich our parishes, homes and our lives. As Orthodoxy continues to grow, the need for beautiful iconography within parish temples will be paramount.
